MËTTLE EPK
biography
Formed in 2016, Mëttle is a husband-and-wife alternative rock duo made up of Scott Gossett and Megan Rice, who write, perform, and produce all of their own music. Blending cinematic atmosphere with the weight and intensity of alternative hard rock, the band creates songs that feel both emotionally intimate and massive in scale.
Drawing inspiration from emotionally immersive alternative and hard rock acts while incorporating atmospheric textures and melodic intensity, Mëttle balances haunting ambient passages, hypnotic guitar layers, soaring melodies, restrained dynamics, and explosive crescendos that leave a lasting emotional imprint.
Built around authenticity and emotional honesty, the duo crafts music that lives in tension between softness and impact, reflective yet powerful, melancholic yet hopeful. At the center of Mëttle’s identity is a commitment to creating music that feels deeply human and unfiltered.
Mëttle’s music is designed for listeners drawn to late-night drives, emotional catharsis, towering walls of sound, and records that reveal more with every listen.
Mëttle’s growing recognition also includes recent featured music placements connected to Megan Rice in the video games Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The song “Can You Hear Me Come In,” featured in Black Ops 6, has surpassed 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, while the newest release “Come Back Down,” released in March 2026, has already accumulated more than 300,000 streams.
